Terms of Service

By creating an account, accessing or using Stampette (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and every policy referenced here. If you use the Platform on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorized to bind that business.

If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use the Platform.

Stampette is a marketplace that connects businesses seeking verified local customer-acquisition results with independent participants who promote those businesses. Businesses fund campaigns and pay rewards only for results that pass the Platform's verification process. Stampette is an intermediary: it is not a party to the underlying service a business provides to its customers.

The core commercial principle of the Platform is that businesses pay for verified economic results — not exposure, impressions or reach.

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for safeguarding your credentials, and for all activity under your account.

One person, one account. Creating multiple accounts, sharing accounts or misrepresenting your identity is prohibited and may result in suspension and forfeiture of pending earnings, subject to the Anti-Fraud Policy and applicable law.

Businesses create, fund and manage campaigns, define rewards, and honour claimed offers to customers. Participants promote campaigns using the tracking tools provided and must follow each campaign's rules and disclosure requirements. Customers claim and redeem offers and are not required to hold accounts.

Additional role-specific obligations appear in the Business Agreement and the Participant Agreement, which form part of these terms for those users.

All monetary amounts on the Platform are denominated in Canadian dollars. Fees are described in the Payment Terms. Businesses are responsible for applicable taxes on their sales; participants are responsible for reporting income earned through the Platform as required by law.

Stampette may modify its fee schedule with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

You must not misuse the Platform, including by attempting to manufacture, falsify or manipulate conversions; interfering with verification mechanisms; scraping or reverse-engineering the service; or engaging in any conduct described in the Acceptable Use Policy.

Violation may result in warning, suspension, termination, forfeiture of fraudulent earnings and, where appropriate, referral to authorities.

You may close your account at any time; verified balances owed to you will be settled according to the Payment Terms. Stampette may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, present fraud risk, or create legal exposure, with notice where practicable.

Sections that by their nature survive termination (including payment obligations, dispute resolution and limitations of liability) survive.

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Stampette does not guarantee campaign outcomes, participant performance or customer volume.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Stampette's aggregate liability arising out of the Platform is limited to the greater of the fees you paid to Stampette in the 12 months preceding the claim and $100. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Québec or Canadian law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection provisions, disputes are subject to the process described in the Dispute Resolution Policy and, failing that, the courts of the district of Montréal.
